Struggling
Kids are struggling.
To get up and out of bed every morning.
To focus and learn in school.
To feel accepted in this society, their own generation has carved out for them.
But they still feel lonely.
They don’t feel good enough, no matter how hard they try.
They struggle to be accepted, to fit in, to not feel alone.
But why should they have to change themselves?
They shouldn’t be struggling to be different, that’s not how this society should be.
Until we change the society first and the rules.
Kids will still struggle.
